Paris Saint-Germain doesn’t have a left-back behind Nuno Mendes and have used Lucas Beraldo to cover that position at times. However, the Ligue 1 side could look for a player in that position to bolster their depth.
Last summer, the Parisians secured Lucas Hernández. Could they target his brother soon? Hernández would fit the French strategy and fill a position that’s lacking depth. Moreover, it would present competition to Mendes to ensure he remains in top form to battle for minutes.
Fichajes reports that Theo Hernández’s future at AC Milan is in doubt due to his high salary demands. The French full-back, a key player for the Rossoneri, is asking for a significant pay raise, reportedly around €8 million per season, to extend his contract.
However, Milan isn’t keen on meeting those demands, which has sparked uncertainty about his future, especially with his current deal running until 2026.
At this point, a departure seems likely. Several top clubs are already eyeing the French international ahead of the summer transfer window, with Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain leading the chase for his signature.
Hernández’s situation has become complicated due to some recent incidents that have caused tension with the coaching staff. His red card against Fiorentina and ignoring Paulo Fonseca’s instructions in that game, as well as in a previous one against Lazio, have put a strain on his relationship with the coach.
In addition, difficulties in his contract renewal talks are making his future at Milan uncertain, and the possibility of his leaving is still on the table.
