Man Utd, PSG Target Speaks on Future Amid Ongoing Transfer Rumors

Several European clubs are keen on Sporting Lisbon’s standout Viktor Gyökeres heading into 2025. Amid the ongoing rumors, the Swedish standout commented on his future and left the door open for speculation.

Loïc Tanzi of L’Équipe has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on Gyökeres, with plans to pursue him in the summer of 2025. PSG’s sporting advisor, Luís Campos, has reportedly already made contact with the striker’s representatives.

Meanwhile, The Daily Briefing reports that Manchester United are preparing to make a move for Gyökeres, with coach Rúben Amorim—who worked with the striker in Lisbon—leading the charge.

The report also suggests that Joshua Zirkzee could be moved on to make space for Gyökeres, as the Dutch forward’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain.

While on international duty with Sweden, the former Coventry City striker discussed his future. He downplayed speculation about a move in January but left the door open for a possible transfer next summer.

“It’s not something I think about,” Gyokeres told Fotbollskanalen. “Of course, you want to play out the season at Sporting and I enjoy myself there, so there is no stress for me to make a move in the future. We’ll see when the time comes.”
