Missouri State basketball will go for its third straight win after outlasting Tulsa in a three-overtime thriller this past weekend at Great Southern Bank Arena.
The Bears (2-1) will play their last home game until Dec. 7 when they host UT Arlington (2-2) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Cuonzo Martin’s Bears showed toughness by escaping with a 111-106 victory over the Golden Hurricane. The Mavericks feature former MSU guard Keith Pickens, who played for Martin, as he serves as an assistant for the Mavericks.
The Mavericks are 2-2 this season with wins against NAIA UNT Dallas and NAIA Texas College. Their losses have come to Louisiana Tech and Southern California.
