Morgan Rogers handed first England call up as 8️⃣ players drop out

Date:

Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers has received his first call up for England as the Three Lions announced a major reshuffle after injuries hit the camp.

The 21-year-old could make his first appearance for the senior national team when England face Greece and Ireland in the coming days to round off their Nations League campaign.

Tino Livramento and James Trafford have also both been called up and could win their first caps, while Jarrod Bowen and Jarrad Branthwaite could continue their England careers after being drafted in.

It follows the loss of eight players over the past 24 hours. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Levi Colwill, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Cole Palmer, Aaron Ramsdale, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka are all unavailable through injury and have been forced to withdraw.
