Michigan State has a new Director of Basketball Operations.
247Sports is reporting that Michigan State has promoted Andrew Henk to the role of Director of Basketball Operations. Henk was previously with the Los Angeles Lakers before joining the Spartans as the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations last year.
Henk was once a student manager for Michigan State basketball before working his way up to a pair of positions in the NBA. He was first with the Detroit Pistons as an equipment intern and then being promoted to a full-time assistant equipment manager during the 2018-19 season. From there he took a position with the Lakers as the head equipment manager from 2019-2023.

Michigan State basketball will be opening the 2024 season in October. The Spartans enter the 2024-25 season as one of the contenders to win the Big Ten.
