Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart declares for 2025 NFL draft

Date:

Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart has declared for the 2025 NFL draft. Dart, though, said in his social media post Friday that he will play in the Gator Bowl against Duke on Jan. 2.

Dart spent three years in Oxford after transferring from USC.

“I really and truly came of age at this great university,” Dart wrote in part. “All of this being said, we have unfinished business. I CAN’T WAIT to put on that #2 Ole Miss jersey for one last ride with my guys before beginning preparation for the 2025 NFL Draft. As always, I promise to leave every ounce of what I’ve got on that football field one last time for Ole Miss. THANK YOU and Hotty Toddy!”

Dart passed Eli Manning (10,118) for the most passing yards in program history with 10,213. He has 68 passing touchdowns, which is 13 behind Manning’s school record.

He has career highs of 3,875 passing yards and 25 touchdown passes this season, while throwing only six interceptions.
