As General Manager Adam Peters, his face fixed into a smile, began his welcome (“Without further ado, on behalf of the entire Commanders organization, I have the special privilege and honor to introduce our first-round pick …”), Daniels finally removed the shades and outfitted himself with an accessory this franchise could use: self-restraint.
