Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi helped Iran to beat Krygyzstan in a 1-0 World Cup qualifier.
The 32-year-old is getting his international break off to just the start that he wanted.
Taremi started the match. And just after the half-hour mark, he scored the goal that turned out to be a winner in a 1-0 victory for Team Melli.
This victory was an important step towards World Cup qualification for Iran. And Taremi will be hoping to carry that form back to his club side Inter.
Taremi took to Instagram to celebrate the victory with his national team.
