Pine Grill Open continues to raise money for Somerset community in Year 28

The 28th annual Pine Grill Open was held Aug. 28, at Middlecreek Golf Course. Seventy-two golfers participated in the event. The team of Scott Zarefoss, Alex Miller, George Coyle and Jon Deaner shot 15-under par to win the annual open.

The event raised $10,800 for the Somerset Volunteer Fire Department and the America’s County 25-250 fund celebration in 2026.

“We appreciate the support from the golfers, sponsors, volunteers and the Middlecreek Golf Course staff,” said tournament founder and Pine Grill Restaurant co-owner Mark Miller. “With their assistance, we’ve continued to have successful tournaments to benefit community projects and organizations.”

The Pine Grill Open has contributed over $167,000 for community benefits since its inception.
