PSP: Two killed in U.S. 11/15 crash in Perry County

PERDIX, Pa. (WHTM) — Two people were killed in a crash that closed U.S. 11/15 between Interstate 81 and Duncannon Thursday night.

According to the State Police at Newport, the crash happened around 9:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of State Road, or U.S. 11/15, near the village of Perdix in Penn Township.

One vehicle was headed north while another was headed south. Troopers did not provide any descriptions of the vehicles.

The southbound vehicle crossed over into the northbound lane and the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the southbound vehicle and the passenger of the northbound vehicle were both pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

The northbound vehicle’s driver was taken to Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital with moderate injuries.

Assisting troopers were first responders from Duncannon, Marysville, and East Pennsboro, among others.
