Real Madrid starlet tempted by Premier League move; ex-United star offers open invite

Real Madrid’s Arda Güler, whose patience with coach Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly wearing thin due to limited playing time, has become a hot topic in the market.

The young Turkish midfielder, who shone brightly during the last European Championship, has only accumulated 307 minutes across 17 matches for Real Madrid this season, a situation that has left him and his circle increasingly dissatisfied.

Although Guler was initially reluctant to the idea of leaving Real Madrid in January, the possibility of a winter loan move is slowly gaining strength.

Now, a report from Diario SPORT suggests Guler is tempted by a move away from Real Madrid, with the Premier League emerging as a potential destination.

The report adds that the Turkish international is tempted by the idea of moving to England, with Manchester United, in particular, being one of the potential suitors.

Louis Saha’s open invite

Adding fuel to the transfer speculation, former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has openly invited Güler to consider a switch to the Premier League.

In an interview with Boyle Sports, Saha stated, “Manchester United have a lot to offer him. For a start, more minutes than he has at Real Madrid. United need that type of creator, who plays with freedom and that is very difficult at Madrid.”

Saha further praised Guler’s intelligence on the pitch, suggesting that a loan move could be beneficial for the young star to develop his potential fully, especially after his notable Euro performance.

While Güler is contracted to Real Madrid until 2029, with a staggering €1 billion release clause, a loan seems the most feasible option for any interested club.

Real Madrid, however, are not keen on selling, leaving the door ajar for potential temporary moves to rejuvenate Güler’s career.
