Respectful Napoli fans earn free beer from Como after 3-1 Serie A victory

Como have promised to gift a free beer to all Napoli supporters who make the long trip North when the two sides meet again in Serie A, after a show of respect and fair play before, during and after the meeting of the two sides at the Stadio Maradona on Friday night.

Como announced on Monday that they will provide free drinks for Partenopei supporters when the two teams meet again in February.

Cesc Fabregas’s club praised Napoli supporters for their shows of respect, despite falling to a 3-1 loss at the Stadio Maradona at the weekend .

Como praised the atmosphere within the stadium, and also shared several examples of Partenopei supporters praising their opposition online before and after the game.

“Como 1907 would like to extend sincere thanks to Napoli and its fans for the beautiful display of sportsmanship following the match on Friday evening,” the club wrote in a statement.

“The atmosphere at the Maradona stadium and reaction of both fans after the game was second to none.

“This is why Como 1907 will be buying a beer for every travelling Napoli fan at the return leg at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia in February 2025.”
