Inter Milan will face Man City on September 18th and Arsenal on November 6th.
UEFA have confirmed the Champions League schedule, with the Nerazzurri also pencilling in fixtures against Bundesliga duo Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig, and Ligue 1 team Monaco.
On Thursday, Inter learned who their eight opponents will be in the Champions League “league phase.”
This season, UEFA is rolling out a new format for their top club competition.
Rather than 32 teams, there will be 36. And instead of eight groups of four, there is a new format that sees each team face eight different opponents – and just once, rather than home and away.
Inter drew a mixed bag in terms of opposition.
On paper, the Nerazzurri’s toughest opposition will be from the Premier League.
Inter will have to face the teams that finished first and second last season in the cash-rich English top flight.
With that said, it is not as though Inter will be underestimating any of their opposition.
