Rochester man struck by gunfire at youth football game in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Rochester man was struck by gunfire Sunday while attending a youth football game in Buffalo, Buffalo police announced.

Officials said just after 11:30 a.m., officers responded to call to Sycamore and Koons Avenues where a 31-year-old man was struck by gunfire.

According to authorities, he was transported by ambulance to ECMC to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Officers recovered a gun and have a suspect in custody, police said.
