‘Saara mood kharab kar diya’: LSG troll Google after Mayank Yadav termed as ‘medium-fast bowler’ | Cricket News – Times of India

Date:

NEW DELHI: Ever since pace sensation Mayank Yadav earned a national call-up for the Bangladesh T20Is, the talks in the cricketing circle revolved around him making a debut in the first match in Gwalior.
Mayank’s impressive debut in the IPL, where he consistently bowled at speeds surpassing 150kmph, caught the attention of cricket fans worldwide. However, his tournament was cut short due to a side strain injury.
Typically, players are required to demonstrate their fitness in domestic cricket to be considered for the national team.In Mayank’s case, his exceptional talent has led to his fast-track selection into the side, bypassing the usual protocol.
The upcoming series against Bangladesh will serve as a crucial assessment of both his fitness and mental fortitude. It will be interesting to observe whether he can maintain the same level of precision and command over his bowling that he showcased during the IPL.
Meanwhile, in a hilarious turn of events, Mayank’s IPL team Lucknow Super Giants shared the screenshot on their X handle displaying Google’s feed of the roster of LSG. What left the franchise amused was that the search engine listed Mayank as a “right-arm medium fast bowler,” much to their surprise.

“Tauba tauba saara mood kharab kar diya @Google,” LSG captioned the post with a tired face emoji and tagged Google.
The caption playfully hinted at what LSG wanted to convey, taking a light-hearted jab at Google for downplaying the raw pace of the young speedster.
To express their frustration, LSG used a meme featuring a morphed image of Mayank. The meme served as a humorous way to convey Mayank’s annoyance with the search engine’s evaluation of his abilities.
