Both Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold have finished a game with a passer rating of 100 or higher 13 times this season.
That’s a significant achievement in NFL history: Only once has a quarterback had 14 games with a 100 passer rating in a season, when Aaron Rodgers did it in 2020. Darnold and Jackson both have the chance to equal Rodgers’ accomplishment in Week 18.
Two other quarterbacks have had a 100 passer rating exactly 13 times in a season: Rodgers did it in 2011, and Patrick Mahomes did it in 2018. And Lions quarterback Jared Goff has had 11 games with a 100 passer rating this season, and he could do it for a 12th time tonight and a 13th time on Sunday.
Counting the playoffs, the record for the most 100 passer rating games in a season is 16, set when Rodgers did it twice in the postseason after doing it 14 times during the 2020 regular season. Darnold, Jackson and Goff all have a chance to top that, if they lead their teams on a deep playoff run.
