Tickets sold out online in 24 minutes for Kentucky basketball’s Big Blue Madness, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at Rupp Arena.
This will be the 19th edition of Big Blue Madness at Rupp.
The event will feature an ASB GlassFloor, a full LED video sports floor. The Wildcats are the first college basketball team to use this type of court. The court has been used at other events, including the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, the 2024 Basketball Champions League Final and the 2023 FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup.
“This is something that’s never been seen in college basketball before,” UK men’s coach Mark Pope said in a statement. “Big Blue Madness is one of the great spectacles in all of sports. We are so excited for Kentucky Basketball to be the first college program to partner with ASB GlassFloor, bringing this exciting technology to Big Blue Nation. Our team can’t wait to put on a show in Rupp Arena on Oct. 11.”
