Syrians Embrace Festive Spirit at Winter Market in Damascus

Date:

Locals in Damascus attended a vibrant winter market that brought food trucks, dazzling illuminations, and children’s attractions to the Syrian capital on December 23.

The festivities came following a turbulent political period that culminated in the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime earlier this month.
