Manchester United have performed below expectations this season and they have picked up only eight points after seven games into the Premier League campaign.
The Red Devils have been equally poor in the Europa League with two points from as many games and this has led to questions over Erik ten Hag’s future as manager.
The club had an executive meeting on Tuesday which was reportedly long-planned, but the Dutchman’s position could have been a topic of discussion in the summit.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano has now revealed that the 54-year-old has not received any communication on his future from INEOS and he remains very calm.
Ten Hag is preparing for the league game against Brentford following the international break, but the club are still discussing internally and it is a tense situation.
He said: “Erik ten Hag has not received any communication on his future from INEOS.

United are bound to consider their options after a lacklustre start to the top-flight campaign.
The club spent around £180 million on new signings, but there has been no improvement.
Eight points from seven games is United’s worst start to a league season in 35 years.
Ten Hag does not appear close to being sacked at the current point of time.
The goalless draw at Aston Villa has probably kept him in the job beyond the break.
If there is no big improvement in the forthcoming games, he could get the sack.
United host Brentford later this month before facing Fenerbahce and West Ham United away.
Those three matches could determine the future of the Dutch tactician in our view.
