The biggest questions and themes for AI in 2025

The Morning Brief welcomes on New Street Research Technology Infrastructure Analyst Antoine Chkaiban to explore several of the biggest questions surrounding AI capabilities heading into 2025.

“We’re now about to enter… the third year of the AI investment cycle that started in 2023. And as you know, a number of concerns that have emerged in recent months regarding the sustainability of AI scaling or… the ability to increase the performance of generative AI models by by just throwing more compute at them,” Chkaiban explains to Yahoo Finance’s Brad Smith and Brian Sozzi.

“And on that front, well, I would say that the recent developments have clearly shown that, on the contrary, progress is very far from over and is, if anything, accelerating.”

Chkaiban also lays the significant players in growing AI infrastructure and platforms that aren’t just Nvidia (NVDA).
