Three players could depart Roma as part of revolution

Roma are set for downsizing as three key players face imminent departures.

According to a report by Alfredo Pedulla via Calcio Napoli 24, Roma are set to shuffle their squad to bring a new approach to fix a season marred by underwhelming performances till now.

Key players such as Lorenzo Pellegrini, Bryan Cristante and Gianluca Mancini are not nontransferable anymore and the Giallorossi will be open to selling them this winter.

Roma are set to discuss a potential player-exchange transfer deal with Napoli where they will attempt to sign Giacomo Raspadori by giving up Pellegrini. Several other new faces are also expected to join the side and many will make way for them.

Currently sitting 10th in the Serie A standings, Roma have recorded five wins, four draws and eight defeats, bringing their tally to 19 points. Claudio Ranieri’s men are a long way from challenging the top-four and if they do not find a solution to their problems now, they could find themselves as a mid-table outfit at the end of the season without anything to cheer about.
