Value Opposition
Value is a perception. Without the perception of value, there is no value. An opposition of Venus in Scorpio and Uranus gives the tension to remind us that it’s not always about the integrity of what we are giving; it’s often more important that we have a good receptive match. It’s a day to align with those who have the same idea about what’s meaningful and what matters.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). It is said that the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. Out of a sense of vision, or just instinct, you’ll plant something today that, 20 years from now, you’ll be very happy you seeded.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Your energy may seem diffused, which has its own kind of beauty — like a soft light that reflects the world with more glow, less spotlight. In this softened state, you find clarity not through force but through flow.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You long to know someone better, but if you ask direct questions, the guard will go up and you’ll have less opportunity for insight. Relax and get into an easygoing groove of sharing space.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). The whisper of the wind in the trees is caused by friction. The song of the violin depends on tension of the strings. As for your own experience in an exciting relationship, where do you think the sparks come from?
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Though sometimes it’s smart to assess the competition and use comparative analysis to strategize your next move, you don’t always have access to all the data. Trust your creative leanings. Your signature style is working for you.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You would love to calm your mind at will. The ability can be learned, and it’s a worthy aim, since a calm mind makes you better at just about everything. Know that a customized approach will be necessary, as your peace will be unique to you.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). It’s common not to understand where a boundary is until it’s crossed. You can declare yourself without causing ripples. Limits are not weaknesses but rather structures that provide form.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Today features colorful glimmers that keep you making the climb.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You would like to think that all parts of you are rooting for the same idea about what it means to be healthy, happy and wise. There will be moments when it seems there’s more than one version of you rooting for opposing sides.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Everybody is in their own spot. If you can meet them where they are, you’ll have an easier time. Honor another person’s ability to make the choice that’s right for them.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Most people don’t intend to eat the whole bag of chips. When tired, so-called decisions don’t feel like a choice at all. You’ll help yourself by planning ahead for those moments when you’re vulnerable to falling into suboptimal behaviors.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Among your favorite feelings is the joy of accomplishment. Ticking items off a to-do list is a distinct kind of pleasure. They do not have to be difficult tasks to give you the rush of satisfaction that comes from fulfilling your own intentions.
TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (OCT. 14). You won’t have to invent the fun this year, as it will be served to you, you’ll be swept up in it, or it will rush to embrace you. There’s a new scene behind every door, and life becomes a choose-your-adventure situation. More highlights: People will go the distance to make relationships functional, lovely and special with you. Financial, educational and social realms open. Gemini and Capricorn adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 10, 4, 33, 2 and 17.
