Arizona men’s basketball’s 2025 recruiting class is coming into form.
Dwayne Aristode, a 6-foot-8 wing from the Netherlands, committed to Tommy Lloyd’s program for Arizona’s first commitment of the 2025 class.
Aristode is considered a top-20 player in his class and some recruiting services consider him a five-star prospect. He is ranked the No. 18 player according to 247Sports Composite.
Aristode, a small forward, plays for Brewster Academy in New Hampshire. He chose Arizona over Duke, Michigan State, USC and the NBL Next Stars Program.
“The winning culture Tommy Lloyd has built at Arizona is remarkable,” Aristode told ESPN. “They play fast and have the right balance between structure and giving players freedom.”
ESPN basketball analyst Jonathan Givony wrote that Aristode brings brings defensive versatility a 6-foot-10 wingspan and 3-point shooting prowess.
Aristode played for the Netherlands senior team this summer despite only being 17 years old.
He is the latest international player to sign up to play for Lloyd. Arizona has five international players on its roster this season.
