Kentucky football fell just short of upsetting No. 1 Georgia on Saturday, but it appeared Kentucky basketball at least had a fantastic opportunity to showcase the Big Blue Nation to Caleb Wilson.
The 5-star recruit was in Lexington this past weekend for his official visit, which included attending Saturday night’s football game. He looked like he had a great time and even got to meet UK star and Olympic gold medalist Masai Russell.

Wilson has announced that his decision date will most likely be in November or December after previously planning to announce in the spring. While he concluded his official visit with the Wildcats over the weekend, Wilson still has visits lined up with schools like Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, and UCF.
It was also recently announced on Monday that 5-star recruit Tounde Yessoufou is no longer considering Kentucky. He was scheduled to attend Big Blue Madness in October.
Is Yessoufou’s timing of cutting Kentucky from his list just a coincidence of Wilson having what appeared to be a terrific visit with the Wildcats? It’s almost impossible to tell.
Regardless if it was or not, the focus is all on Caleb Wilson over the next couple of months.
