Twitter Gold: Dream Biggest

Date:

Duke Basketball’s Social Media team really is top-notch. They’ve been invaluable to the program in many ways. One of the most brilliant decisions they made was to let the players hold the mics. Whether it’s Ryan Young and Caleb Foster hosting the Brotherhood Podcast, Marshall Plumlee interviewing his teammates or former Blue Devils like, in this case Dereck Lively, explaining a new era of the Brotherhood, it’s all been good.

But not much has been better than Lively’s video. That was just something else.

In it he explains the Brotherhood. He talks about the players who laid the foundations and who helped build the “greatest basketball network” in the world.

Then he talks about the younger guys, the ones who are taking the Brotherhood into a new era.

It’s probably not a coincidence that the video came out on the day that the Boozer twins committed.

It was perfect timing, looking forward and back simultaneously.
