Two men were stabbed to death in the Bronx early Sunday — just across the street from where a man was beaten to death in February, police said.
A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and a 27-year-old man was stabbed in the chest outside a retail strip on Stratford Ave. near Westchester Ave. in Soundview about 4:50 a.m., cops said.
Medics rushed both men to Jacobi Medical Center but they could not be saved. Their names were not immediately released.
No arrests have been made.
The killing happened just feet away from where Jesus Garcia-Desiderio, a 46-year-old father of two, was beaten to death earlier this year.
Garcia-Desiderio clashed with Alejandro Gonzalez, 23, and another man in front of a restaurant about 4:40 a.m. Feb. 17, cops said. Garcia-Desiderio died three days later at Jacobi Medical Center.
Police caught Gonzalez in Bristol, Conn., three months later and brought him back to the Bronx to face manslaughter and other charges in June.
Gonzalez remains held on Rikers Island as he awaits trial.
