Two shot after dispute over line-cutting at north Columbus pizzeria

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A dispute over cutting in line at a north Columbus pizza shop led to a shooting in which two people were hospitalized early Friday morning.

According to Columbus police one person is stable while a another is in serious condition after a shooting occurred at the Del Baggio Pizzeria on East 5th Avenue at the Summit Avenue intersection.

Upon arrival at the scene at around 3:15 a.m., officers found one victim with a gunshot wound to the back. The other victim’s injury is undisclosed.

Police confirmed that the dispute began after the victims cut in line at the pizza shop, leading to an argument and shooting. It is not confirmed if any arrests have been made. No other injuries were reported.
