Vodacom World Unveils Thrilling New Look As SA’s Ultimate Tech & Telecom Mall

Date:

Vodacom World, South Africa’s largest and only technology and telecommunications mall, has just unveiled an exciting, next-level refresh. This Midrand-based hub has been transformed into an immersive tech haven, empowering customers to dive into Vodacom’s cutting-edge products, services, and support.

Originally launched in 1998 and remodeled into a streamlined single-store format in 2018, Vodacom World’s latest redesign for 2024 raises the bar even further. Now, it showcases emerging tech trends, smart life solutions, and an impressive ecosystem of top global brands, including Samsung, Apple, Honor, Huawei, Oppo, Tecno, Vivo, and Xiaomi. A Mugg & Bean café also awaits visitors, creating the perfect spot to recharge while exploring.

“We are excited to welcome customers to Vodacom World, where technology and lifestyle intersect. Our flagship mall has evolved into a premier digitally connected destination for customers to explore the latest innovations and be empowered with digital tools and knowledge while enjoying personalized customer service. This supports Vodacom’s goal of driving digital inclusion by ensuring technology is accessible to everyone,” says Samantha Botha, Managing Executive of Retail Operations and Branded Channels at Vodacom South Africa.

The redesigned Vodacom World is more than just a retail space, it’s an interactive centre for tech education, engagement, and experiences.

The mall now features Experience Zones where visitors can explore the latest gadgets, IoT devices, and smart home solutions, discovering first-hand how they can transform daily life.

The expanded Vodacom World offers dedicated spaces like the Business Experience Centre for B2B interactions and Connection Labs where startups and SMEs can collaborate and grow.

Meanwhile, the Activation Arena hosts product launches, live events, and exclusive tech exhibits to keep visitors updated on the latest in digital innovation.

Small business owners will also find affordable solutions tailored to help them stay empowered, with options like connectivity, Cloud, Hosting and Security (CHS), IoT solutions, and financial tools.

“As we evolve from a Telco to a Techco business, we want to bring customers on this journey with us,” adds Botha. “Celebrating three decades of connecting people, we want to make sure we leave no one behind. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast, a business professional, or a family looking for smart home solutions, Vodacom World offers something for everyone,” she concludes.
