A woman was beaten and robbed by nearly a dozen kids not far from Market Square.
The attack happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday, feet from the Fairmont Hotel.
Investigators tell Channel 11 that the victim said a group of teenagers was following her near the Fairmont and the bus stop and park across the street.
Then, they attacked her, violently beat her and stole her purse.
When investigators got to the scene, they started to search for the teens and found two teenage girls nearby.
The victim identified them as some of the teens who attacked her.
The woman has injuries to her face and is expected to be OK. Police are still looking for the rest of the teens involved in the assault.
