The organisers of ICE have unveiled the World Gaming Forum (WGF) conference package, to be situated at the heart of the event’s new venue in Barcelona, Spain.
The WGF replaces ICE VOX and “more accurately” reflects the knowledge sharing, learning and networking experiences on offer, said Stuart Hunter, managing director of Clarion Gaming.
The switch encompasses the World Regulatory Briefing – which was a mainstay of ICE at London’s ExCeL – as well as the new Casino & Leaders Conference, formerly the International Casino Conference and the Esports & Games Conference, previously the Esports Betting Conference.
“The outstanding facilities at the Fira Gran Via Barcelona, which is one of the largest and most modern venues in Europe, reflects the World Gaming Forum’s status as the premier platform for discussion, knowledge sharing and collaboration between the global gambling industry and the law makers who regulate them – a dynamic which is essential for the development of a progressive, responsible and sustainable industry,” Hunter said.
Building on the collection of over 1,210 senior decision-makers from 79 countries in 2024, the “enhanced” ICE World Gaming Forum will deliver “exclusive connections and content across our three conferences,” he added.
In-depth workshops, high-level roundtable discussions and tailored networking events will also be on offer, Hunter revealed, “providing a home for the industry’s thought-leaders, innovators, challengers and policy makers.”
The WGF will feature an exclusive club-style VIP lounge for delegates and speakers, a dedicated networking garden and a range of concierge services.
The conferences will run at the same time as the main ICE and iGB Affiliate events, between January 20-22.
