Xavier Worthy touchdown catch puts Chiefs up 24-16

Xavier Worthy has found the end zone to extend Kansas City’s lead.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes found the rookie receiver on the left side for an 8-yard touchdown, making the score 24-16 with 2:42 left in the third quarter.

Worthy had three touches on the possession, starting it off with a 19-yard catch that put the Chiefs on their 39-yard line. He also had a 12-yard catch that put Kansas City in the red zone.

A play later, Worthy got loose off the line of scrimmage and made his fifth touchdown catch of the season. He now has eight total touchdowns with three rushing TDs.

Worthy leads the Chiefs with seven catches and 65 receiving yards so far on Saturday.
