Zay Flowers is expected to play Wednesday, Diontae Johnson is not

Date:

Wide receiver Zay Flowers is the biggest injury question mark for the Ravens heading into Wednesday’s game against the Texans.

Flowers drew a questionable designation due to a shoulder injury that led to him being listed as out of practice for two days this week. Flowers moved up to a limited listing on Tuesday and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that he is expected to play in Houston.

Former Ravens wideout Diontae Johnson joined the Texans as a waiver claim this week, but Rapoport reports that he is not expected to make his debut on Christmas. The Texans lost Tank Dell for the season last Saturday, but John Metchie is set to return to action alongside Nico Collins, Robert Woods, Xavier Hutchinson, and practice squad elevation Jared Wayne.

The Ravens also picked up a former Texan when they claimed wideout/returner Steven Sims. The Ravens did not elevate veteran returner Desmond King after a pair of fumbles last week, so Sims may be in line to make his Baltimore debut.
