๐Ÿ”œ Everton continue ‘good progress’ toward securing naming rights

Perennial Premier League occupants Everton could be edging closer to securing a name for their new ground at Bramley-Moore Dock after commercial chief Richard Kenyon gave the latest update surrounding the clubโ€™s ambitious project.

Per the Liverpool Echo, Kenyon claimed that the Toffees have been making โ€˜good progressโ€™ ahead of a planned 2025 opening for the ~53,000-seat stadium along Liverpoolโ€™s historic waterfront.

At present, Everton have received multiple offers from prospective organisations keen to claim ownership of the stadiumโ€™s naming rights, with the club hoping that any deal struck would cover at least the first 10 years of its existence, according to Kenyon.

After Everton decided to walk away from the negotiating table with USM Services and Alisher Usmanov after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, US-based firm Elevate Ventures was brought in to work alongside the club given their track record surrounding successful deals for American sports franchises San Jose Earthquakes (MLS) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL).
