Fulham and Brighton are both coming off the back of draws in their last game, looking to pick up all three points at Craven Cottage.
And the hosts were gifted the dream start when Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen passed directly to Alex Iwobi, who returned the ball with interest past the Dutch goalkeeper to put the Cottagers into an early lead.
Brighton immediately pushed for an equaliser, with Joao Pedro in the thick of the action, seeing one effort saved and another blocked at close range.
