🚨 Philadelphia Union name Bradley Carnell as new head coach

Philadelphia Union have announced Bradley Carnell as their new head coach, replacing long-standing boss Jim Curtin.

Carnell brings eight seasons of MLS experience to the role, having most recently spent two seasons as manager of St. Louis City, taking them to third in the league with 62 goals and with a plus-17 goal differential during the 2023 campaign.

“I’m honored to be named Head Coach of the Philadelphia Union, and I would like to thank the Union ownership group and Ernst Tanner for their trust in me,” said Carnell.

“Philadelphia is an amazing city, built on communities of hardworking and passionate people who truly love their soccer. I am excited for this opportunity to build upon an already solid foundation and aim to help raise the Union organization to the next level that our fans and city can be proud of.”

Philadelphia kick off their 2024 campaign with a trip to Orlando City on February 23rd.
