$1.4 million lottery ticket purchased at Sacramento gas station

(FOX40.COM) — A Powerball ticket purchased in Sacramento matched five numbers during Wednesday night’s draw was for a winning of nearly $1.4 million, according to the California Lottery.

The ticket was purchased at an ARCO AM/PM gas station located at Marconi and Eastern Avenues.

If a lottery ticket isn’t claimed, what happens to the money?

The lucky numbers were 6, 15, 18, 33, 49, and 7 for a total winnings of $1,391,550. The ARCO station will receive a nearly $7,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket of $1 million or more.

No ticket matched all five numbers and the Powerball number for the grand prize jackpot. The next drawing will be on Saturday with a grand prize of around $88 million.
