Barcelona, PSG Target’s Asking Price Revealed to Premier League Clubs

L’Equipe recently reported that Paris Saint-Germain are eager to sign a reliable No. 9, with Viktor Gyökeres being their top target. However, a mid-season move for him seems unlikely.

Sporting Lisbon have made it clear that they won’t entertain offers for the striker, whose €100 million release clause remains intact, until at least next summer. Moreover, the capital club face competition in the race for the Swedish standout.

A Bola reports that Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, has initiated talks to bring Gyökeres to the Catalan club. The striker reportedly has an agreement with Sporting allowing him to leave for a fee of €60 million to €70 million.

Times Sport reports that Premier League teams have been informed that Viktor Gyökeres could be available for as little as £63 million next summer.

Last month, TEAMTalk revealed that Gyökeres has become a top target for Arsenal, especially after Manchester United appointed Sporting CP’s manager, which has influenced his current situation.

Arsenal are eager to sign a quality striker in the upcoming transfer windows but are wary of overspending in January. They may opt to wait until the end of the season when they’ll be in a better position to make the £84 million move needed to bring Gyökeres from Portugal.
