WEST LAFAYETTE – Notre Dame women’s basketball turns its attention to a primetime matchup against Purdue this Sunday after a scorching offensive performance to beat Mercyhurst 105-61 on Oct. 30.

Reigning ACC Player of the Year Hannah Hidalgo scored 19 points while Olivia Miles led the Fighting Irish with a triple double 20 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds while Pitt transfer Liatu King scored a game high 24 points with 11 rebounds.

Purdue opened the season with a win over Purdue Fort Wayne on Nov. 6

Destini Lombard, a senior transfer from Stephen F. Austin scored six rebounds, five assists and four steals. Freshman Lana McCarthy scored 18 rebounds and grabbed 10 rebounds and fellow classman Kendall Puryear scored 11 points in their debut for the Boilermakers.
