Inter Milan Once Again Full Of Regrets After Top-Of-Table Serie A Showdown Vs Napoli

Inter Milan once again find themselves full of regrets after their Serie A draw with Napoli yesterday evening.

This is the view in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

Inter have faced two direct rivals for the Serie A title in the past couple of weeks.

Both of these matches have come at the San Siro in front of their fans.

And on neither occasion have the Nerazzurri managed to get the win that they were after.

Against Juventus a couple weeks ago, Inter drew 4-4. It was a remarkable match, but it left a bitter taste for Inter because they let a two-goal advantage evaporate.

Yesterday was different. Inter had trailed early on, and fought their way back to earn a point.

But that was not really how it felt. In the view of Tuttosport, it is once again Inter who will be feeling regretful about sharing the points rather than their opposition.

Inter Full Of Regrets After Serie A Draw Vs Napoli

Inter had the entire second half to try and get a winner against Napoli.

The momentum was with the Nerazzurri, who were playing in front of their own fans.

There were quite a few chances for Inter.

The biggest, naturally, was from the penalty spot. For the first time since joining Inter, Hakan Calhanoglu failed to score a penalty.

That summed up Inter’s second half. But it was hardly the only moment that the Nerazzurri will be regretting.

The draws with Juventus and Napoli are hardly disastrous for Inter.

The Nerazzurri are still right in the thick of it at the top of the Serie A table.

But so are Napoli, Lazio, Atalanta, Fiorentina, and Juventus.

Inter will feel that they have had more than enough chances to get themselves at least a couple points above all those rivals.

But they have not taken them,
