Paredes on his future: “I was very happy before De Rossi left, let’s see if Boca calls me.”

Leandro Paredes has not made it a secret that his time at Roma is slowly winding to an end.

The midfielder has seen his minutes be consistently cut down and with the appointment of Ivan Juric in September his role was limited mostly to the bench.

As a result, the Argentine is being linked with a departure from the capital club in January, with Boca Juniors in sight.

In an interview with ESPN, Paredes – out on international duty with the Argentine squad – said, “I was very happy at Roma until De Rossi left. We’ll see what happens…”

“Boca? I haven’t spoken to Gago. Let’s see if he calls me or not.”
