The former Manchester United star is technically under contract with the Bianconeri until the summer of 2026, but the club have been looking to move the Frenchman on, despite his being eligible to return to action at the start of 2025.

Pogba was handed a four-year suspension after failing a routine doping test after a Serie A match against Udinese in August 2023, which was later reduced to just 18 months, meaning that the 2018 World Cup winner would have been able to return to competitive action at the beginning of the next calendar year.

However, with Juventus having started out on a new project under Thiago Motta at the start of the season, and with a newly refurbished midfield department, Pogba’s time at the Allianz Stadium appears to have come to an end again.

According to reports from local outlet Ilbianconero.com, Juventus have now reached an agreement to terminate the 31-year-old’s contract by mutual consent.

Juve are reportedly set to save themselves around €10m per season in wages from the termination of Pogba’s deal.
