Inter defender Yann Aurel Bisseck has officially put pen to paper on a new and improved contract extension, which will run until the end of the 2028-29 season, the club have confirmed.
Official: Bisseck signs new Inter contract
“FC Internazionale Milano announces that it has reached an agreement for the contract extension of the player Yann-Aurel Bisseck. The 2000-born defender will be a Nerazzurri player until 30 June 2029,” a statement on the club website read.
The 23-year-old joined Inter in the summer of 2023, signing from Danish Superliga side Aarhus for a fee of around €7m.
He was already tied to the Nerazzurri until the summer of 2028, having penned a five-year deal last summer, but the new extension reportedly comes with a significant increase in wages after a breakout season as a starter in Simone Inzaghi’s back three.
According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Bisseck had been earning less than €1m per season in wages, but that figure has now increased significantly.
Bisseck has appeared in seven Serie A matches so far this season, and has also featured in all four of Inter’s Champions League fixtures so far, including three as a starter. Along with Atalanta, the Nerazzurri are one of only two teams yet to concede in the Champions League so far this season.
