NEW DELHI: The hilarious incident occurred during the third T20I between Australia and Pakistan on Monday, leaving everyone in stitches. Pakistan pacer Jahandad Khan, who made his debut, found himself at the center of a comical moment when he experienced an unexpected wardrobe malfunction while chasing down a boundary.
Australian batter Jake Fraser-McGurk attempted a shot into the covers off Shaheen Afridi but ended up squirting it through third man off a thick outside edge. Jahandad sprinted to stop a firmly struck shot from crossing the ropes, his dacks betrayed him, slipping down at the most inopportune moment.
The incident, caught on camera, has since gone viral, turning the boundary chase into an unforgettable highlight and proving that even in professional sports, the lighter moments often steal the show.
Talking about the match, Marcus Stoinis delivered a scintillating performance, blasting 61 not out off 27 balls, as Australia cruised to a seven-wicket victory over Pakistan, completing a 3-0 series sweep.
Stoinis hammered five sixes and as many fours in his explosive knock, leading Australia to chase down the 118-run target with 8.4 overs to spare at the Bellerive Oval.
Pakistan, having opted to bat, were well-placed at 61-1 in the seventh over. However, their innings quickly collapsed, and they were bowled out for 117 in 18.1 overs.
Adam Zampa dismissed Haseebullah Khan (24) in the seventh over to trigger a collapse and Pakistan could add 56 runs before losing their remaining nine wickets.
