RALEIGH — N.C. State basketball freshman Trey Parker has a brace on his left wrist and is out for the Wolfpack’s Monday night game against Colgate.
Parker, a Fayetteville native, was coming off his best performance for the Wolfpack (3-0) in an 82-70 win against Coastal Carolina on Nov. 13. He had 13 points and five rebounds in 20 minutes against the Chanticleers.

The 6-foot-1 guard is one of three players in head coach Kevin Keatts’ 2024 recruiting class, which includes Paul McNeil Jr. and Bryce Heard. Parker was in sweatpants and an N.C. State t-shirt while the Wolfpack warmed up for its game against the Raiders (1-2) on Monday.

Parker, who took a hard fall in the Wolfpack’s win against Coastal Carolina, is day-to-day with a “deep bone bruise,” N.C. State coach Kevin Keatts said after N.C. State’s victory against Colgate on Monday.
“We had an MRI and it came back negative,” Keatts said. “But he’s incredibly sore. He took a nasty fall, so it’s gonna be day by day. … I have no idea when (Parker) is coming back. It’s nothing that, I hope, will keep (him) out for a long time.”
Trey Parker stats
Through three games, Parker is averaging 6.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 15.6 minutes per game. It’s a tough setback for a young player who seemed to be finding his way after an impressive showing against Coastal Carolina.
