MANHATTAN — Kansas State basketball is back on its home court for the fourth straight time to start the season at 7 p.m. Tuesday to take on Mississippi Valley State at Bramlage Coliseum.

The Wildcats (2-1) will try to get back on track after a disappointing 76-65 loss to LSU at home last Thursday. They face a Mississippi Valley State team (1-3) that has faced a brutal early road schedule with lopsided losses at Iowa State (83-44), Missouri (111-39) and most recently Texas (89-43) on Saturday.

Graduate forward David N’Guessan leads K-State in scoring with 16.3 points per game and rebounding at 7.7. Brendan Hausen adds 15.7 points, Max Jones 10.7 and Dug McDaniel 9.3 to go with a team-high 5.7 assists.

Kansas State basketball prediction

Three other Power Four teams have had their way with Mississippi Valley State at home and there is no reason to think that will change, especially with K-State motivated to bounce back after a poor showing against LSU last week.
