In images shared via Manchester City’s official X account a key quartet of City’s players have been pictured training. Manuel Akanji, John Stones, Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne have all been pictured training ahead of Saturday’s match. That is welcome news for the world champions.
It is no secret that Manchester City have lost their past four games in all competitions. In all four of those defeats Manchester City’s performances have seen them rightfully lose all four of those games. But the injury crisis Pep Guardiola’s squad has had to deal with has also played a part. But it now looks like four of City’s players are now on the comeback trail.
John Stones, Manuel Akanji and Jack Grealish all appear to be in contention to feature in Saturday’s match. Each player didn’t feature for their countries over the recent international break.
