Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United could be decided during the 2024-25 season, with Ruben Amorim now in charge. One pundit gave a dim outlook on the 27-year-old’s future at Old Trafford under the new manager.
Last month, TEAMtalk reported that Paris Saint-Germain have renewed its interest in Rashford. While the obstacles that stopped a summer move remain, the Ligue 1 club might make another push to sign him next year.
Nonetheless, Rashford is hopeful for a fresh start and the chance to rediscover his best form, according to TEAMtalk.
Despite this optimism, talkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor believes Amorim will “100 percent” move on from Rashford in the summer if the forward doesn’t show he can make an impact for the rest of the season.

With the FIFA international window over, club football is back, and now it’s time for Rashford to impress his new manager, or else he could be living his last few months with Manchester United even though the player is under contract until 2028.
“Remember when you broke into the first team, how you felt, how happy you were, how you loved playing for Manchester United, how you celebrated goals, how you were the hardest worker on the pitch,” Agbonlahor said (h/t TEAMtalk).
“You’re 27, before you know it you’ll be in the your 30s. Do you want to go down the [Jesse] Lingard route? He’s playing in South Korea now, it can easily happen.
“Look at the England squad, at how many players are ahead of you now. For Rashford to get back into the squad come March he’s probably got to be player of the month for the next few months and he at his best.”
“[Amorim’s] come into United to succeed, he’s not come in to just pick players who have been there for a while. If you’re not at it, some of these players have got six months to the summer window. If you’re not at it you’re gone.”
This season the forward has recorded four goals and registered three assists in 18 appearances across all competitions this 2024-25 season. How much could the player cost? Transfermarkt puts Rashford’s value at €60 million.
