UEFA have appointed Spanish referee José María Sánchez Martinez for Tuesday’s Champions League match between Slovan Bratislava and Milan.
UEFA confirmed on Sunday that Spanish official José María Sánchez Martinez will be in charge of Milan’s fifth Champions League game this season against Slovan Bratislava.
Sanchez Martinez’s compatriots Raúl Cabañero and Iñigo Prieto are the assistants. Carlos del Cerro Grande will be the Video Assistant Referee. Alejandro Muñiz Ruiz has been appointed the fourth official.

José María Sánchez Martinez has officiated 30 Champions League games in his career, and this will be his second appearance in Europe’s elite competition this term.
The 41-year-old was the referee in Milan’s 0-0 draw against Newcastle at San Siro last season.
Italian teams, including the Azzurri, have only lost one game from the nine officiated by Sánchez Martinez, winning three and drawing five times.
