UConn made easy work of Oregon State in its opening game of the Baha Mar women’s tournament and now gets a shot at No. 18 Ole Miss.

The Huskies ended the first quarter up 22-7, never squandered the lead and won 71-52. Paige Bueckers led the team in scoring as usual, dropping 23 points, six assists and three rebounds on 9-of-13 shooting from the field.

Sarah Strong has a monstrous defensive performance, making for quite the impressive freshman season. She had six steals and two blocks to go along with 13 points and eight rebounds.

Ole Miss gets a shot at the No. 2 team in the country following a blowout win against Boston College. The Rebels won 92-55, improving to 4-1 on the season.

Five different Ole Miss players scored in double figures as the team held Boston College to 36.7 percent shooting as a team.
