Azzi Fudd, Paige Bueckers Star As UConn Women’s Basketball Defeats Ole Miss – FloHoops

UConn women’s basketball capped off a dominant performance to win the 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Women’s Championship, defeating No. 18 Ole Miss 73-60 in the final.

The Huskies withstood a second-half surge by the Rebels, including a 15-0 run, to claim the title behind outstanding performances from Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd. 

Bueckers led the way with 29 points, while Fudd added 18 in her third game back from injury. 

Despite a strong push from Ole Miss, who were led by KK Deans’ 17 points, UConn never trailed in the contest and held on for the win. 

With the victory, the Huskies take home the hardware from the Bahamas as they continue their undefeated start to the season.
